She is the compassionate developer of Swan Song Saltwater Farm, a built from scratch micro resort in Sullivan, Maine initiated in 2024 focused on a cruelty free healthy environment with accommodations, animal sanctuary, organic gardens, farm store and event venue. The Farm comprises 53 acre with over 3500 feet of shorefrontage looking across the bay at Bar Harbor and mountains in Acadia National Park.

Recent acquisitions of the Fox Pond Estate, an 880 acre spread in Hancock County and 80 Main Street in Prospect Harbor are currently in the white board stage as part of the Swan Song Collection. Swan's passion for design has many outlets in her real estate pursuits and dictates many of the investment decisions.

Kim purchased the family real estate firm, began in 1975, from her parents in 1994 and built one of Maine's most respected companies and initiated the State's first specialty hospitality brokerage focused on Bed and Breakfast Inns. Swan Agency Real Estate reached it's 50th year in business in April of 2025, Kim decided to celebrate the impressive milestone and then re chart the future of the business. In July of 2025 Kim had found the ideal path forward by merging Swan Agency with Dava Davin's Portside Real Estate Group. Long a fan of Dava's company, management style and philanthropic arm, she knew she had found the perfect hands to entrust the future of the company and the valued associates.

Today Kim's brokerage efforts continue as a member of Swan Agency Private Brokerage of Portside Real Estate Group located at 3 Summit Road in Northeast Harbor. The Northeast Harbor group has offices in the First National Bank NEH building and will be opening a new Main Street office summer of 2026.
